Tigers take the clash of Tampa

Leslie Daniel fell just four runs short of a century
TAMPA/FL – USA: Tampa Tigers walked away with bragging rights after their match against Tampa Rebels in the MCL President’s Cup ended with victory for them by 62 runs at the Wesley Chapel cricket stadium on Sunday.
Leslie Daniel with 96 and Sanjay Raghav 74 added 106 runs for the first wicket in 7.5 overs to lay the foundation for a massive score of 202/9 off 20 overs. Rebels could muster only 140/7 in reply – losing handsomely.
Daniel’s 96 came off only 38 balls and included 10 sixes and five fours. Raghav made his 74 off 29 balls with six sixes and seven fours. After these two left, there was a slew of wickets for Rebels as Samir Keshwani 4/5 and Himanshu Patel 3/10 came into their own. However, a target of 203 runs was always going to be tough and it showed in the end.
