Sports City coming to Georgia
MARGATE/FL – USA: Sports in Georgia will take a different slant when the proposed Sports City comes to town in Fayetteville.
This is a mega project being under taken by the Maq Group in partnership with Cricket Council USA (CCUSA). Maq Group chairman Mahammad Qureshi explained: We have acquired some prized lands across in Georgia and we have decided that it is best to construct a sports city over there to assist in the development of a number of different sporting disciplines.
The Sports City will include a Petro Xpress Gas station, Holiday Inn hotel, a cricket stadium and practice fields. According to Qureshi, everything for the athlete will be at the proposed venue. “We will have the Holiday Inn there for those who want to stay and for those who are travelling in from outside. At the gas station there will also be a convenience store which is essential and of course practice fields for now and later on we will decided what we want to add to that area.”
The Jackson International Airport is just 11 miles away from the proposed Sports City making it very accessible to athletes and fans from outside the area.
