MaqT10 Registration Open
BOCA RATON/FL – USA: The popular USA National championship MAQ T10 tournament will be played from May 28 at the MAQ Cricket Stadium in Delray Beach, Florida, USA.
Chairman of Cricket Council USA (CCUSA) Mahammad Qureshi told 925 News that the tournament will only be held amongst six teams this year and not the usual 18. The Central Broward Regional Park is on lockdown due to the Covid 19 Pandemic and hence all matches will be played at the refurbished Maq Stadium.
According to Qureshi: “We have decided given the current situation with Covid 19 and the restriction concerning use of the Central Broward Regional Park, to limit the number of teams taking part to six and not the usual 18. We are sorry about this but we have no choice. We will be entertaining teams from our six regions. So one team each representing each region will get the chance to come and play at this tournament which we have been hosting since 2014.”
The games will consume the Memorial Day weekend, with matches on the 28th, 29th and 30th of May. Registration fees for the tournament is set at $1000 and those teams that are interested can contact CCUSA offices or go to www.cricketcouncilusa.com and state their interest.
