Hemraj topscores again as South East wins

Guyanese batsman Chandrapaul Hemraj continued his liking for the Maq Cricket Stadium as he slapped 25 runs to take South East to their second victory on the opening day of the USA Nationals/Maq T10 tournament in Delray Beach, United States.

Hemraj who made a quick 66 not out in the opening game against New York blasted South East to 88/3 as they successfully chased down a target of 85 runs. Batting first South Central Region made a fighting 84/6 off their 10 overs with Gerard Penford getting 30 off 18 balls. The pick of the bowlers for South East Region was Rishikesh Neupane who took 2/19.

Hemraj then led the chase hitting 25 off 11 balls with three sixes and a four to take his tally of sixes for the day to 11. Sanjay Stanley made 24 runs off 12 balls to assist as South East wrapped up a good day.
