Bravo, together with his elder brother Dwayne played for the US All Stars at the 2018 tournament  and took the team to the finals before they lost out. In the semi-finals the Bravo brothers chased down a winning target of 123 in just seven overs to take their team to the final. Speaking on Friday Darren said: “So many top players are now coming in to play at this tournament, this is amazing. From the time we came here to know, the tournament has really progressed well. It is good to see all these top players coming into to play at the US Open T20 because this will do wonders for cricket in this tournament.

“Maq continues to do great work in getting top class cricket up here and looking at some of the names on the team list, I am very sure that this year will be a quality tournament.” Bravo himself will be missing out on the tournament this year as he will be travelling with the West Indies team for their tour of Pakistan.

The US Open T20 tournament will be played from December 6 to 13 at the Central Broward Regional Park in Fort Lauderdale.
